The delightful town of Cavtat is set between two bays with restaurants and cafes around the harbour front which is a popular mooring place for yachtsmen. Narrow alleyways and stone staircases wind their way up the hillside from the waterfront between charming stone houses. There are plenty of excellent beaches close at hand. The town is just 10 minutes drive from Dubrovnik airport and no more than 25 minutes from Dubrovnik old town. There is regular ferry passenger ferry service between Cavtat harbour and Dubrovnik which is a perfect stress free way to visit Dubrovnik and avoids having to park a car or rely on taxis or other public transport.
