OVERVIEW
The three bedroom newly restored and elegantly furnished villa is close to the sea and has beautiful sea views. The villa has a spacious attic of 50 square metres which can be used to provide four extra beds, so the villa can sleep maximum of 10 people. The villa has a garden and two lovely terraces, and is located next to its sister four bedroom villa, Villa Sargasso, and both can be rented separately or together, with a maximum of 24 people accommodated.
The villa is situated in the peaceful outskirts of Cavtat which is one of the most attractive coastal towns in southern Dalmatia. It is unspoilt and full of old churches and stone houses, with and authentic old town and harbour of such charm and elegance, that it attracts international elite and culture enthusiasts, and all those who want to have a seaside holiday with a difference. The world famous Dubrovnik is just a few minutes ride away.
Accommodation
Ground floor
On the ground floor are three double bedrooms. All bedrooms have terracotta tiled floors and are air-conditioned. The main bedroom has a modern queen double bed and access to the sea view terrace. The second bedroom also has a queen double bed, and the third bedroom has two single beds. The bedrooms share a shower room. All the bedrooms have cool and pleasant bed linen, and towels are provided. This floor has a laundry room with a washing machine, iron and ironing board.
First floor
A very large living room/dining room has windows looking out at the sea. This room has cool terracotta tiles and stylish white sofas, also a modern fire place in the corner, satellite TV and a DVD player. A large modern dining able can sit 8-10 people comfortably and a full set of cooking utensils, plates, glasses and cutlery is provided. WiFi internet is available throughout. The kitchen has top of the range sleek white kitchen furniture and contains a fridge/freezer, cooker, hob, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and a coffee machine. A full set of cooking utensils, elegant plates, glassware and cutlery is provided. The garden terraces are tiled with local white stone slabs, and are great for relaxation. They have an outdoor table and chairs where you can dine al fresco and relax in the shade with a magnificent sea view in front of you.
Attic area
The attic space is a large open area, tiled with terracotta tiles with twin beds and a sitting area with a sofa bed, and a TV. The sofa bed can be converted into a double bed, thus four persons can sleep in the attic. The roof is sloping, and lined with wooden beams. This space is not air-conditioned, but benefits from the cool air coming from the rest of the house.
Outside
The villa has several large stone covered sea view terraces and a garden planted with pine trees, cypresses, palms and other Mediterranean shrubs and herbs. A variety of attractive outdoor furniture, sunbeds and sun umbrellas are provided on the terrace, as well as a barbecue and outside dining area. The villa is within walking distance of several beautiful beaches.
Additional Information
Villa Wings has its sister, Villa Sargasso, next door. Both nestling in 600 square metres of garden. Together both villas can accommodate 24 people in total.
The villa overlooks the wonderful Clear Harbour Bay beach. Several beaches are within the walking distance of the villa and many of them are peaceful and nestle in the unspoilt nature. Shops and numerous restaurants and cafes of the beautiful town of Cavtat are within 15 min walk.
