OVERVIEW
Villa Selena is an old stone villa located at the edge of the ancient town of Cavtat. It is walking distance from everywhere and from several great beaches. The villa has beautiful features of classical Dubrovnik architecture, such as stone pillars and arches, but provides totally modern facilities, private swimming pool, elegant, comfortable interiors and a beautiful garden with a BBQ and an outside dining area. The spacious house has 200 square metres of living area and two terraces, plus 600 square metres of Mediterranean garden. It is within a short walking distance from the town centre where you can find many restaurants, bars, beaches, pretty shops and museums and a charming harbour. This beautiful and family friendly villa is just 18 km from Dubrovnik, one of the most famous towns in the world. It offers a good mixture of rest and activities, water sports and culture tours, riding and hiking and wonderful sight-seeing trips. Excellent villa for families and adults.
Accommodation
Lower ground floor
This lovely one bedroom suite on the lower ground floor has been added in June 2023 and consists of an open plan living space and one bedroom with double bed. The lounge area has a comfortable sofa which can be extended (150 x 200 cm) to sleep 2 additional guests. A beautiful wrought iron dining table with glass surface sits four guests comfortably and the pretty white kitchen is fully equipped. The white double bedroom has a comfortable double bed, two bedside tables and a wardrobe, and is accessed from the lounge. The bathroom is also kept in white and continues with the calm and fresh colour scheme and decor of this lovely one bedroom suite. The suite has access to its own separate terrace.
Ground floor
The ground floor is open plan and comprises a large kitchen/diner which is fully equipped with a dining table, cooker hob, oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster, many cooking utensils and tableware. The sitting room is very pleasant, elegant, and filled with sunlight, and is equipped with plasma sat TV, CD and DVD players, WiFi. The kitchen and sitting area open out onto a terrace with an outdoor dining table and stunning sea views.
The master bedroom is on the ground floor, with a large double bed and integrated bath tub. Here there is also a utility room with a washing machine, iron and ironing board.
First floor
The first floor has four bedrooms. There are three double bedrooms and the forth is a twin bedroom but the beds can be put together and made up as a double if required. Two bedrooms have sea views and balconies, whilst two double rooms look over the garden. Each bedroom has its own en-suite shower room, a wardrobe and is individually air-conditioned. Plenty of towels and all bed linen are provided.
Outside
The villa is surrounded by a luscious garden with a private pool (6.5 by 4.5 metres). The gate leads you to a few steps which go down to the lower terrace with the pool. Sun beds and some parasols are provided, and there is a covered gazebo where you can hide from the mid-day sun and relax on the outdoor sofa. To the side of the house there is a stone built BBQ and a dining table, overlooking woodland.

There is another self-contained, completely separate apartment in the house. Most of the year this is not occupied. This apartment has its own entrance and the entire outside area of Villa Selena is for your sole use only.
