OVERVIEW
This new and luxurious Mediterranean villa is located in the fishing village of Medulin, where houses are dotted around the harbour and in the old nucleus of narrow streets leading up to a two-spire church. The village has numerous long sandy beaches and a string of cafes, restaurants and bars lining the seafront. Small fishing boats bob along in the harbour, market stalls cram the narrow streets and in the evenings life goes on in cafes and clubs until small hours. This village has something for everyone. Families with children will enjoy the beaches, ice cream, large fairground, trips to the nearby islands, teenagers and adults will feel pretty safe in the friendly local bars and nightclubs, spending the days doing all kinds of water sports such as scuba diving, sailing and surfing, or tennis, and culture vultures will visit ancient churches, concerts, nearby Roman rustic villas, and the amazing 2000 year old city of Pula. The villa is surrounded by similar houses, close to the public transport and all the amenities. The house comprises 300 square metres and the grounds are 1000 square metres, planted with palm and oleander trees and scented herbs.
Accommodation
Ground floor
The ground floor is very spacious and accommodates two sitting rooms, a separate, modern and light kitchen with a dining area and a breakfast bar, a double bedroom and two shower rooms. Both sitting rooms are very smart and light. The main sitting room décor is cool white, silver, and grey with slate coloured floor tiles, a comfortable L-shaped sofa , chairs, and a large sliding door with the view of the garden an pool. There is a SAT TV/DVD Player and WiFi. The second sitting room is reached from the dining area down a couple of steps. This is a cosy sitting room with wood flooring, rugs, a sofa and armchairs and its own SAT TV. One of the sofas can be used as a pull-out double bed. The lovely modern kitchen is equipped with a fridge freezer, dishwasher, cooker and hob, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, and a full set of new cooking utensils and tableware. The dining table can sit eight and in the kitchen there is a breakfast bar. There is a shower room which also includes a washing machine and a clothes drier. In addition, the ground floor also has a double bedroom and its shower room. All bed linen and towels are provided.
First floor
Four well furnished, stylish modern bedrooms are on the first floor, with good storage and wood flooring. One of these bedrooms has twin beds. They share a nice large bathroom with smart tiles and fittings. Bed linen and towels are provided.
Basement
In the basement there is a good games room with a pool table, table football, games console, and some gym equipment.
Outside
The villa is surrounded by a wall and fenced garden and has four car parking spaces. The garden is leafy, planted with fig trees, vine and mature trees, providing privacy and shade. The villa has a nice swimming pool (6 x 4 metres, 1.5 metre deep) surrounded by a large sunbathing patio with 4 sun loungers, 2 parasols and other outdoor furniture. There is a large covered terrace with an outdoor dining table and chairs, and a garden barbecue. The owners provide a swing, table tennis and a trampoline. The garden has many Mediterranean plants, such as pink oleander bushes, palms, lavender and rosemary.
