OVERVIEW
A classical Dubrovnik beauty built with the pale pink/grey coloured local stone, Villa Amore is a luxury holiday home you will fall in love with. It is located in the most desirable area just outside of the old city's western walls and has a private swimming pool. The villa is newly refurbished with stylish, modern interiors with a light touch of antique and has WiFi, air-conditioning, stunning views of the sea and the old town of Dubrovnik and is close to all the culture, entertainment, shops, restaurants and beaches. The wonderful garden with bougainvillea and a shady terrace under which you have a gas barbecue with the summer kitchen and dining table completes the wonderful summer experience enjoyed by the old Dubrovnik nobility as well as by the modern discerning traveller. The gorgeous villa is built on three floors and the exterior is typical of aristocratic dwellings with a stone façade, green shutters and terracotta coloured roof tiles. A few stone steps lead from the garden to the villa.
ACCOMMODATION
This luxury private Dubrovnik villa with pool and sea view has four beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, an amazing sitting room, modern kitchen, a town garden and a great private pool which is a rarity in old Dubrovnik villas.
Ground floor
Ground floor sitting room has pale marble tiles and sisal rugs separating the dining and relaxing areas. A lovely sofa and additional chairs are gathered around an elegant modern fireplace and a TV set. A doorway and widow open out onto the garden. Modern paintings and lighting complete the designer look of this living space. In the dining area the table sits six to eight people, and the modern kitchen is fully equipped for gourmet cooking.
First floor
On the first floor are three wonderful, air-conditioned double bedrooms with TV and bathrooms. Each bedroom has a distinct character. Bedroom one has stunning pale oak parquet flooring, a double sleigh bed and antique art deco sofa and armchairs, hinting at the elegance of a bygone era. The amazing white and grey marble bathroom has a large modern shower and an oval porcelain bath with two windows showing glimpses of the garden greenery. Sumptuous bed linen and towels are provided. Bedroom two is a fantasy in white and gold, the double bed coming right out of a French castle. Its bathroom is fully modern and full of light.
Second floor
The second floor double bedroom nestles under the eaves all painted white and very spacious with a large, modern bed and armchairs. There is also a good size marble bathroom en-suite. Its special point is a south facing, sea facing balcony with table and chairs to sip the excellent local wine whilst enjoying Dubrovnik sunset over the sea.
OUTSIDE
Villa Amore has a lovely, Mediterranean garden which has a new swimming pool with several large and good quality sun loungers and parasols. The garden has several terraces and one of them has a summer kitchen with a large gas barbecue and an outdoor dining table. Typical Dubrovnik flora surrounds this luxury private villa - bougainvillea, orange and lemon trees, rosemary and lavender. This must be the place to come to and relax in after your sightseeing, water sports and culture trips. We love Dubrovnik Villa Amore.
