OVERVIEW
Close to the Old Town of Dubrovnik there is a lovely, typical stone built Dubrovnik villa, with a mature Mediterranean garden and renaissance columns adorning it. The villa is up a little hill, with small town roads, pedestrian paths and various nooks winding down to the town and beaches, which are about 400 metres away. This Dubrovnik family villa has a really great location to enjoy every feature of Dubrovnik. You are a short walk from the Old Town, which is a unique place in the world - the beautiful main street Stradun shines with cobbled stones polished with centuries of use. Shops, restaurants, bars and cafes are on every corner - a proper cafe society! Beautiful town squares and harbours take you back in time, whilst you enjoy the outdoor theatre, live performances, concerts, and jazz music from a tavern. It is an intoxicating place. Hop on the town ferry which takes you to Lokrum, a tiny island where the locals swim and frolic. Equally, you are a few minutes from the supermarkets, shops, fresh market and the ferry terminal that takes you to the nearby islands.
The villa is approached from the street, into a large courtyard, and a few steps take you into the hallway. In total there are three double bedrooms and three bathrooms. One part of the internal staircase leads you to the refurbished attic where you have a sitting room and a bedroom, and the downward staircase takes you to the ground floor and the kitchen plus two bedrooms and bathrooms. From there, you enter a magical garden. This private Dubrovnik villa has WiFi, air conditioning, parking (very important in Dubrovnik!) and a great location with sea views.
The owner lives on the ground floor of the house, which has a separate entrance and private access.
ACCOMMODATION
Ground floor
The ground floor comprises a new kitchen and two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, plus a guest toilet. The bedrooms have king size double beds, wardrobes and quality bed linen and towels. The modern, light, eat-in kitchen is well equipped with tableware, cookware, dishwasher, cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. The villa also provides and iron, ironing board, hairdryer and a washing machine.
First floor
A wooden staircase leads up to the large beautiful sitting room with TV under the roof. Cream coloured sofas and armchairs and an additional sofa by the piano, provide plenty of space for a group of 8 people. This floor also has a spacious shower room, which also houses a washing machine. In addition, there is a double bedroom with a lovely view out to the sea and a king size double bed.
OUTSIDE
The charming outside area provides one parking space, and a wonderful, walled garden with terraces which have relaxing outdoor tables and chairs where you can enjoy your breakfasts and other meals - enjoy the outdoor life of the fantastic Dubrovnik climate! The traditional garden pillars and stone paths are typical for the old gardens giving them depth and elegance. In this garden you will find cypresses, palms, pine trees, colourful oleanders, pots filled with flowers and scented herbs. It is a little paradise.
