A pretty village nestled under a hill with a large harbour sheltered by a group of rocks that are incorporated into a long breakwater. Adjoining the harbour is an attractive beach shaded by pine trees and ideal for families and children. There are many more gorgeous beaches along the coast including the long pebble beach at Duba and a pretty enclosed bay at Divna. For those who like walking there are paths along the coast and through the hills and vineyards.  A delightful place for a relaxing family holiday. Trpanj is linked to Ploce on the mainland coast by ferry. For those arriving from the direction of Split this avoids a long drive down the coast and back up the Peljesac peninsula.
