OVERVIEW
This charming, new villa with strong Mediterranean colours, dazzling blue shutters, terracotta roof tiles and ample space for six people (180 square metres, 1200 square metre garden) has a luxurious interior, small tennis court and heated pool and is just 600 meters from a pebble beach - a perfect villa for a family holiday. The villa is surrounded by a wall and gated, and in its stone courtyard there is an ancient olive tree. In this villa, every detail has been thought through carefully, from perfect wrought iron gates and bannisters to rustic stone walls in parts of the house and sumptuous towels. It all comes together beautifully as a paradise family villa.
The town of Zadar is 40 km away and is great for shopping days out, visiting numerous restaurants, ancient churches and museums, its lovely beaches and all sorts of attractions. Also visit Sibenik, Primosten, historic Nin and Krka Waterfalls. If you like boating, take a day trip to Kornati islands where the sea is the bluest in the world (officially reported by NASA).
Accommodation
Ground floor
An open plan family living area is very inviting, white walls and wooden ceiling beams, stone colour tiles and wooden country doors evoke a well to do Dalmatian farm house with all modern conveniences. Further luxurious details are a heavy wooden dining table, open fireplace, stunning chandeliers and works of art. A cream country kitchen is framed by terracotta floor tiles, and is well equipped with a fridge/freezer, cooker, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, excellent cooking utensils and beautiful old-world china. In the sitting area two leather Chesterfield sofas surround a lovely fireplace and a coffee table. The downstairs guest toilet also has amazing, rustic hand-made furniture and fittings.
One double bedroom with ensuite bathroom is located on the ground floor.
First floor
A stone staircase leads upstairs where there are two luxury double bedrooms. The master bedrooms has a desk, dressing table, king size four-poster bed, draped in sumptuous curtains and ensuite bathroom with a standing bath. The other bedroom also has a king size double bed and shower enclosure. There is a sauna in one of the bedrooms. Beautiful details, bed linen and luxurious white towels are supplied throughout. Each bedroom has a wardrobe and own TV set.
Outside
This villa is also special outside. It has a heated swimming pool (8 by 4 metres, 1.25 metre deep) and a whirlpool for six people. On the covered terrace there is a rustic dining table with benches and a nearby barbecue. There are also six high quality sun loungers, a hammock and two large parasols, with pool towels provided. A few steps down from the pool terrace there is a tennis court (not full-size) which can also be used as a children's football pitch with goal posts. The garden is planted with palm trees, olive trees, lavender and rosemary.
