OVERVIEW
Private luxury family Villa Imogen was built in 2022 and offers generous accommodation for 8 guests on 350 m². There is an equally generous outdoor space with heated hydro-massage pool, sunbathing and dining terrace, and beautifully landscaped garden. Adults and children alike will spend many happy hours in this beautiful child friendly villa which has a children's playroom as an added bonus. There is underfloor heating throughout and a designer fireplace in the living room, thus the villa is suitable for holidays all year round.
Travelling from Zadar along the coast toward Nin and Privlaka it takes about 20 minutes to reach your family villa with pool which is situated in a small village with a lovely harbour and seaside promenade. The nearby historical town of Nin lies in the middle of a shallow lagoon and two stone bridges connect the old town of Nin with the mainland. Nin is the oldest Croatian royal town and is considered the cradle of the Croatian state. The region offers a great choice of land and sea based outdoor activities and there are numerous lovely beaches along the coast. For day trips we recommend to visit Paklenica, Plitvice lakes, Kornati Island or Krka National Park. Zadar with its Old Town is worth a visit and famous for its delicious dish 'pasticada with gnocchi'. Shopaholics will find a wealth of boutiques located in the Old Town and two shopping malls, one in the centre and one on the outskirts of the town. And not to miss is the 'Sea Organ' which was designed by the architect Nikola Basic. The waves of the sea interact with the organ and create randomly harmonic sounds - just magical!
ACCOMMODATION
Ground floor
From the entrance there are three steps down to the main living and dining area which opens up to the dining terrace with view of the pool and the sunbathing area. The white, black and grey colour scheme combined with the warm tones of the wooden flooring create a welcoming atmosphere. Designer lighting, a feature open fire place and a very beautiful acacia wood wall sculpture add an individual touch to the interior. The cleverly designed kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, Espresso coffee machine, ice maker, kettle, toaster, wine cooler, tableware and kitchen utensils. Eight guests can comfortably sit around the kitchen table.
First floor
An impressive open wooden staircase with glass balustrade is leading to the first floor. Two generously sized double bedrooms with sea view and shared bathroom, and an additional double bedroom with private balcony and ensuite bathroom are on this floor. Each bedroom has its own LCD TV and air conditioning. In the morning your children will wake up and quietly play in the lovely children's playroom. There is also a laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
Second floor
The apartment on the second floor is ideal for families travelling with grandparents or child minder. Whilst you want to spend most of the time together as a group you will have the added bonus of your own little retreat. The apartment has a lovely covered balcony with beautiful sea view, a kitchenette and a generously sized double bedroom with LCD TV, freestanding bathtub and ensuite bathroom.
Bedlinen, towels and hairdryer are provided. A safe deposit box is at your disposal.
OUTSIDE
The focal point of the outside space is the 26 m² heated hydro-massage pool with retractable roof surrounded by a tiled sunbathing terrace with four sun loungers. The covered terrace spreads over the entire length of the villa and has a dining table with chairs on one end and a garden lounge on the other end. The garden is beautifully landscaped with grassed areas and Mediterranean shrubs and trees. The property is surrounded by a wall and is gated.
