OVERVIEW

Luxury villa Sea Breeze is on the island of Vis which is totally unspoilt and famous for its clean blue sea and its protected bay. Its rich, historic past  is documented by many old sunken ships which are now attracting scuba divers. The little towns of Vis and Komiza are the key settlements on the island and are simply divine. They have existed for two thousand years, started by the ancient Greeks who found the island and called it Issa. The ancient city of Issa (Vis) still has the remains of Roman baths, Greek necropolis, rustic villas, churches,  Tito's cave) and is very interesting for history lovers. Ever since then, this was the place where fishing, olives and wine provided livelyhood for Vis people. The local fishermen say that they taught the world how to fish. Among the culinary delights are slow baked lamb ("under peka"),  "Vis cake" made of sardines, "Vis hlib" made from home grown figs, black squid risotto, we could go on!. What the island Vis makes special is a clean and beautiful sea, numerous bays, pebble and sandy beaches, hidden coves, so it  is very popular by yachting people and boaters. And yes, the musical "Mamma Mia! Here we go again!" has just been filmed there.

Villa Sea Breeze consists of the main villa on two floors  and a separate guest suite a few metres away, which is a single story dwelling. The main villa comprises 250 square metres and the guest suite 50 square metres. Villa  Sea Breeze on Vis is a great choice for all. There is a trampoline for children, table tennis, two bicycles and canoes. The villa has four covered parking places and its own mooring for a boat up to 10 metres long.  From the villa there is a unique and unobstructed view of the open sea and a few minutes’ walk leads you to four different, beautiful, romantic sandy beaches and traditional restaurants. The villa has been carefully designed and built with a lot of style, care was taken to every detail, and its position ensures plenty of sunny terraces, and also shady terraces. A daily maid service can be arranged on request, at extra cost.

Accommodation

Main House - ground floor

The interior of the luxury villa Sea Breeze is very tasteful, and the spacious and comfortable rooms are full of Mediterranean sunshine and colours. The stylish, light filled living room is open plan and has direct access onto a large, south facing terrace. The sitting area has a modern fireplace, an L-shaped sofa and other seating,  LCD TV, Netflix, CD and DVD players. A fully equipped kitchen offers two cookers, an oven, dishwasher, egg boiler, coffee maker, electric kettle, fridge and freezer, blender, toaster and all the cooking utensils and tableware, and a large rustic dining table adjoins the kitchen. There is also an iron and ironing board, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. 

One double bedroom with  double bed and shower room is also on the ground floor of the main house.

Main House - first floor

The first floor of the main villa can be accessed in two ways, either via direct entrance at the back of the villa or by an internal staircase. On this floor there are three comfortable and well-appointed bedrooms with accompanying modern bathrooms with shower or bath tub. One of the rooms consists of a double bed measuring 2m x 1.60m, LCD satellite TV, and a breath-taking sea view. The other bedroom has a double bed measuring 2m x 1.80m, LCD satellite TV and French balcony overlooking the sea, while the third bedroom has a bed size 2m x 1.80m, LCD satellite TV and terrace with outdoor seating furniture and a sea view. All bed linen and towels are provided. Other facilities in Villa Sea Breeze include a hair dryer and safe. 

Guest house

The guest house is also in the typical Dalmatian style,  decorated in the Mediterranean colours. It consists of one bedroom, with double bed 2m x 1.60m and a single, elevated bed for a child. There is a shower room and a fully equipped summer kitchen, and dining area with table and chairs. The summer kitchen contains a barbecue where you can prepare tasty grilled specialties. The whole place is full of charm.

Outside

Luxury villa Sea Breeze is surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and pine trees, guaranteeing privacy and tranquillity.

The beautiful, private salt water infinity pool is positioned perfectly for enjoying the best of the sea views whilst swimming. The pool measures 7.5 × 3 metres and is 1.60 metres deep. The pool can be heated to 32ºC at an additional charge. By the pool is an outdoor shower. Around the pool there are sun loungers, parasols and quality outdoor furniture where you can enjoy refreshments throughout the day and in the evening hours in the relaxing lighting of the illuminated pool. The summer kitchen will be the centre of socialising, with its BBQ and the large al-fresco dining table.

The garden of the villa is planted with native Mediterranean plants and is a riot of colour, against the deep blue of the sea. Guests are welcome to pick seasonal vegetables from the garden. Only a few meters away, by a narrow foot path, you will come to a small, paved beach with a boat mooring. This is for private use only by guests of the villa. Fantastic!
