OVERVIEW
The five star, fully air-conditioned, peaceful Villa Girondella Small (two bedrooms) is a sister villa to Large Girondella (three bedrooms). The two villas belong to the same school of décor and vacation philosophy. They are really perfect in their rustic authenticity and modernity at the same time. They are attached, but have separate gardens and pools. A garden gate in the garden wall separating the two houses can be opened to link the two houses, so that a group of 10 people can holiday together as if this is one large villa with two pools. Both places are owned by the same family who have restored them with great love and care and are rightly proud of the result.
The two bedroom, rustic family villa with pool is about 120 years old, renovated in 2018 and comprises 100 square metres. Indoor light and stylishness completely define this luxury holiday home. The owners have given you the best, be it the elegant and comfortable furniture, marvellous lighting, excellent bed linen and towels, lovely tableware and inviting outdoor spaces.
The villa is located in the amazingly beautiful Croatian coastal region of north Dalmatia, near the famous and historic town of Sibenik and near the Krka River Waterfalls National Park. The pretty town of Skradin is 3 km away. It is a perfect cycling country, so the owner provide you with bikes. Explore the whole amazing region, visiting Zadar and Kornati islands, make a day trip to historic Split.
ACCOMMODATION
All rooms are individually air-conditioned and heated and have WiFi and TV. As soon as you enter the villa grounds, the outdoor sauna and shower is on your left.
Ground floor
The ground floor comprises a sitting room, dining area and kitchen and one double bedroom with a super king size bed and bathroom with sumptuous bed linen and towels. All is in pale tones of sand and stone, including the large, deep sofa and a round wooden table with six chairs in contrasting rust colour. The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge/freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee machine, toaster, Villeroy and Boch tableware and new cooking utensils. Six people can comfortably sit around the dining table. A washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board and hair dryer are provided.
First floor
First floor comprises one en-suite (bath tub and shower) galleried bedroom with TV, a super-king size double bed from where you can see the sea.
OUTSIDE
The villa has a fully walled garden where there is a heated, private infinity pool with water jets (8 by 4 metres, 1.6 meter deep), outdoor Jacuzzi, sauna, outside shower and toilet, four sun loungers, parasols. A special, luxury feature is an outdoor kitchen and stone built barbecue, and an outdoor dining table for six under a shaded canopy. Further on there is a beautiful orchard with many fruit trees. The exquisite local stone is used for paving the sunbathing terraces which are also planted with olive trees, bougainvillea, lavender and other Mediterranean plants.
The outdoor kitchen is covered and has a barbecue and bread oven, and an outdoor dining table.
