Overview

This historic building on a charming pedestrian only square in the heart of Sibenik old town has been beautifully restored to create a 17 bedroom boutique hotel. Every room is different, some with vaulted ceilings and some with views out over the square. Breakfast is provided in the hotel or in warm weather in the square outside.  Other meals can be taken in any one of the numerous restaurants within a short walk of the hotel including one of Croatia's Michelin Star restaurants. The hotel cafe is open all day and serves a wonderful selection of cakes and patisseries.

Sibenik is located around a large natural harbour which is entered through a narrow channel, too small to allow cruise ships to enter. So unlike Split and Dubrovnik, Sibenik does not get overcrowded from disembarking cruise visitors and is relatively undiscovered as a small and charming historic medieval city.   

The hotel includes a wellness suite with jacuzzi hot tub, sauna, massage table, shower and relaxation area.

ACCOMMODATION

The accommodation is categorized as Classic, Superior, Deluxe or Executive Suite. All rooms have double beds and the beds in the Classic rooms can be split into twin beds. The more expensive rooms have a larger floor area and generally better views but all rooms are beautifully furnished, have original architectural features,  ensuite bath or showers and high quality comfortable beds.

OUTSIDE

The hotel has its own cafe and breakfast area in the pretty square immediately outside the front door. The museums, cathedral, harbour and city centre restaurants are all within a few minutes' walk. The closest beach for swimming is a 15 minutes' walk and boats can take you from the harbour to the beaches on either side of the channel leading into Sibenik. Boat trips can also be made up to Skradin the entrance to the Krka National Park

• There are two public garages nearby where clients can park their cars (places are not reserved). The nearest car park is the underground garage Poljana, less than 5 min walk from the hotel. Hotel does not offer porter service.
