OVERVIEW
Here is a magic little cottage, which was built 200 years ago, and the new generation of owners have now built a modern villa in its grounds. The peaceful village is away from noise and hustle, and in 15 min you can drive to the lovely sandy beaches and colourful markets of Omis, or visit fabulous Split and Trogir, full of culture, entertainment, shops, restaurants and sporting activities.
This private villa in the heart of Dalmatia has a magnificent vineyard and orchard surrounding it, and you are welcome to use the fresh produce. The owner also has his own wine and olive oil. What a gem of a villa. Only 40km from Split airport, you will arrive to this holiday cottage after a short journey and immerse yourself in fresh air and dive in the large pool. Outdoor barbecue awaits and it will be difficult to leave this little haven. The area is worth exploring, and the beaches are fabulous.
Accommodation
New house
The fresh, airy new house was built in 2015 and comprises 90 square metres arranged as an open plan sitting room, dining room and a new kitchen, with access to a covered outdoor terrace. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric kettle, coffee machine, tea pot, toaster, cooking utensils and tableware. The sitting room has a large, L-shaped sofa, and 2 extra people can sleep there. The guests can use free WiFi, satellite TV, CD and DVD player and board games. Air conditioning is in the living area, and for cooler months a wood burning stove is provided. In addition, there are three double bedrooms, each with a new double bed. There is also a new shower room, a separate toilet and a storeroom. All bed linen, towels and pool towels are provided.
Old house
Close to the new house is the original, old, restored and fully refurbished stone house, a picture postcard cottage surrouned by flowers. The space is 35 square metres and has a second kitchen with a fridge, cooker, ice machine, indoor stone fireplace (BBQ), a sofa and a large oak dining table, this is the hub of the cottage where cooking and socialising happens in the summer. A very useful additional living space. The old house also has a shower room.
Outside
The large garden of this homely villa for families and adults has marvellous country and mountain views and has a heated pool 9 x 4.5 metres. A small part of the pool, 8 square metres is made for children, depth is half a metre. The greater part of the pool is for swimming and has a hydro massage attachment and waves counter-current, depth 1.5 metres. One part of the garden is dedicated to children, with a slide and a trampoline. Both children and adults will love the wooden swing seat. There are sunbathing terraces and also a shaded terrace by the pool. Around the pool there are 6 sun loungers and a parasol, and a shaded terrace. Here is an outdoor dining table and a garden BBQ. Wood is provided for the BBQ. The whole garden is full of flowers, planted with love and care for you to enjoy.
