OVERVIEW

Villa Dionne is a modern, luxury, five star, private villa surrounded by Mediterranean pines, on the edge of a lovely coastal town on Brac island. The ferry from mainland Split takes you to the town of Supetar in a 50 minutes' scenic ferry ride. As you disembark in Supetar harbour, you enter a whole new world of island life which is vibrant, but relaxed and rejuvenating. All around the harbour there are cafes and restaurants offering delicious local food, such as fresh fish and pasta, cold beer and good local red and white wines. In Supetar and all around the island of Brac there are plenty of great beaches, pebble and sandy, often bordered with scented pine woods. One of the most famous beaches of Croatia is in the town of Bol, called the Golden Horn Beach. This spot is particularly famous for windsurfing. You will enjoy an extensive range of water sports on Brac, such as scuba diving, windsurfing, water skiing, kitesurfing, kayaking, yachting, fishing and for the little ones and the big ones there is also snorkelling and swimming in warm and crystal clear sea. For special experiences visit the high mountain Vidova Gora with a Monastery and Brac has its own, small desert! The pretty coastal towns of Milna, Postira, Splitska, Sumartin, Sutivan and Bol are nearby and all well worth visiting. Daytrips are easily made to Split and Trogir on the mainland and not to be missed for culture and fabulous food.

Villa Dionne is a stylish, modern version of traditional Brac architecture based on the white stone façade from the famous local white stone. This private family holiday home spreads over 360 square metres and has four terraces and two balconies, all on a 600 square metre plot. Free WiFi, complete air condition in each room and underfloor heating are some of the luxuries. There are four double bedrooms (an additional bed can be put in three of the bedrooms), five bathrooms, a private heated swimming pool, private parking, games room/children's playroom, gym, a spa with a Finnish sauna, outdoor summer kitchen and indoor and outdoor sound system. The villa is arranged on three floors.

ACCOMMODATION

Basement spa with a double bedroom

The basement is actually on the ground floor and has luxurious spa facilities with a Finnish sauna, gym, snack cabinet, shower and toilet. There is a lot of space and a quiet room with loungers and bathrobes to relax on after exercise. In this bright, ground level "basement" there is a bedroom with a king size double bed, en-suite shower and TV. A large outdoor terrace is reached directly from the spa and the bedroom on the basement level and connected with the rest of the villa with a staircase. In the basement is the laundry room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. Hairdryers are also provided.

Ground floor with living room and one double bedroom

The sitting room, dining area and a well equipped kitchen form a spacious, open plan living area with sunlight streaming in through a large glass wall. This space combines with two outdoor terraces on the ground floor level: one with bench seating, table and chairs and the second one with a heated pool, sun loungers, outdoor dining and an outdoor summer kitchen with barbecue.

The sitting room has a large L shaped grey sofa, a TV set and smart, modern fireplace. The dining table with turquoise dining chairs can sit 8 people comfortably, possibly more. The stylish kitchen has a breakfast bar with four tall bar chairs. Just outside, another large dining table, sitting 10 -12 people is on the outdoor terrace. Indoor and outdoor, either way you are enjoying the brilliant sunshine. The kitchen has a dishwasher, cooker and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, icemaker, attractive tableware and new cookware. On this floor is a children's playroom/entertainment room with squashy chairs, TV, Playstation 4, DVD, puzzles and colouring sets.

On the ground floor there is also a double bedroom with a super king size double bed, en-suite shower, TV and a quiet terrace with lots of seating. A lovely spot for privacy with your morning coffee and a favourite book.

First floor with two bedrooms

A stair case leads up to two more excellent double bedrooms. One has a super-king size double bed, shower en-suite, TV and balcony. The next bedroom also has a super-king size double bed, en-suite shower, balcony with a sea view. Both bedrooms have large wardrobes and desks and their clean, comfortable, bright look is very relaxing. All the bed linen and bath towels are provided. Each bedroom has a seating area like a small sitting room.

OUTSIDE

The fully fenced garden is arranged on two levels. On the lower level there is a terrace and planting of Mediterranean shrubs outside the fitness area and the bedroom. Then steps go up and you reach the upper level garden, mainly occupied by a large pool terrace and areas where greenery is planted. Here we have a terrace wrapping round the whole villa. The large, heated private pool measures 8 by 5 metres and is 1.6 metres deep. The pool has jets and counter current. Pool towels are provided and heating is extra for a small cost. Around the heated pool there are 8 sunbeds, a pool shower, a set of sofa and armchairs under a shady terrace and a swing seat. On the other side, in front the ground floor bedroom, there are more comfortable seating spots where you can relax in privacy.  This lovely terrace, perfect for socialising, has a barbecue and a large outdoor dining table.
