OVERVIEW

Villa Rai is located in the small tourist town Rakalj, only 25km from the historical town of Pula. It is a truly luxurious villa teeming with elegance from top to bottom. Very much a modern villa built in keeping with Istrian tradition with stone and wood. The villa itself is 300sq metres; which comprises 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The grounds are 1000sq metres - complete with pool, garden, terrace, balcony and plenty of garden furniture.

Accommodation

This spacious villa spreads over two floors.

Ground floor

The villa is entered via large stone steps which lead up past the pool into the beautiful and spacious ground floor living areas of the villa. The open plan living area has a gorgeous window which stretches up and across the entire side of the room, offering an absolutely tremendous view of the "green wall", which is the view across the sea to the island of Cres, the island of Losinj and the whole of Kvarner Bay. The sitting area has a lovely open fireplace sourrounded by comfortable sofas and an armchair, and as a special feature a wicker swing chair. Across from the living room is a dining area which comfortably seats 8 people. From here you enter the fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffe maker, tableware, and kitchen utensils. A second living room 'snug' has a large corner sofa and satellite TV. The downstairs area offers also a Hi-Fi device and a DVD player. A door opposite of the kitchen leads to a 'Konoba' style room, a space where in the olden days families would store their wine, prepare food, and family and friends would get together. The 'Konoba' has a bar style counter, dining table for 8 and a comfortable leather sofa. 

There is also one double bedroom with bathroom, a guest toilet with washer/dryer, and even a desk space for those who can't stop working, on this floor. 

First floor 

A stone staircase leads to the first floor with 3 double bedrooms with double beds and two ensuite bathrooms. The third bedroom shares the downstairs bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a private terrace overlooking the garden and pool.

Outside

Large glass doors from the living room and 'Konoba' lead to a gorgeous pool terrace with heated pool, sunbathing terrace and a hacienda style covered terrace with comfortable outdoor seating and Jacuzzi. In the pool area there is also an outdoor shower and a guest toilet, and the property has ample parking spaces.
