OVERVIEW
This charming new stone villa of quality, traditional build is located in the lively but quiet village of Liznjan, on the southernmost tip of Istria. The area is known for wonderful wild beaches and some sandy beaches equipped with sunbeds and cafes. History, good food and wine are also a great feature, and in the nearby Pula you will find an authentic Roman amphitheatre, which stages "mock" gladiatorial games. The villa itself is extremely pleasant, with all the usual modern equipment, air-conditioning, WiFi. The furniture is of high standard, also the lighting, bed linen, cooking utensils and tableware. The bedrooms and other areas are air-conditioned and each has its own satellite TV.
Villa Zorritta is one of the several villas within a private, gated estate which is bordered by green country fields to one side and also with two private villas. Within ten minutes you will reach the grocery shop, a butcher, a cafe, a restaurants, bakery, bank, doctor and chemist. We think that a car is not needed, but we recommend it. Go and visit the riding school, the sandy beach, the amazing towns of Pula, Rovinj and Motovun, the local wineries and some of the best restaurants in Croatia. This is also a paradise for water sports, wild swimming, biking and foodies. If you are flying, the local airport Pula is about 30 minutes' drive away, and Trieste airport one hour drive.
Accommodation
Ground floor
The ground floor is arranged as an open living space where a focal point is a modern fireplace, and there are two comfortable sofas, a coffee table and an eat -in kitchen two steps above the sitting room. The well equipped kitchen is supplied with a fridge/freezer, gas cooker, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, cooking utensils and attractive cookware and tableware. The dining table is for up to eight people. In the sitting room there is satellite TV/DVD and the a WiFi connection and good works of art. From there you get a direct access to the pool and sunbathing terrace with a parasol and sunbeds provided. Also on the ground floor is one double bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe, TV and wood flooring and a family shower room.
First floor
A wooden staircase takes you to the two first floor bedrooms, one with a double bed and balcony, the other with twin beds. Bed linen and towels are provided. The bedrooms share a very nicely tiled bathroom with a bath tub and a hand held shower. The bedrooms are bright, airy and very restful.
Outside
The blue shuttered villa has a 400 square metre garden which is planted with Mediterranean plants and shrubs. The pool is private and has ladder-style steps , surrounded with sun loungers and a parasol. There is also a private, secured outside parking for 2 cars. The garden has a BBQ grill and a dining area with an outdoor table for eight.
