OVERVIEW
A luxury family and pet friendly villa, attractively built from top quality local stone, equipped with modern technology and good, comfortable and stylish furniture, provides great accommodation for six to eight people in the fishing village of Liznjan. The villa is situated on a corner plot in a walled estate with several almost identical private family villas. It is in a quiet, rural location, but within a short walking distance of all the village amenities such as restaurants, cafes, shops, bakery, butcher, tennis courts, bank, pharmacy and doctor. Within two miles you will find a second village (Medulin) which has many attractions and entertainments for children and adults. There is a large sandy beach, an amusement park, many restaurants and bars, scuba diving, wind and kite surfing, horse riding in the sea, original dinosaur footprints, a glass bottomed submarine and lots more. The sea is very warm and clear to swim in, everyone will be happy in this villa. Explore the beaches and wild swimming in the national park Cape Kamenjak, visit local wineries which produce excellent wine, foodies can go to excellent Michelin recommended and starred restaurants. The 2000 year old Roman amphitheatre and Forum in Pula testify to the historical importance of the region and is now full of music, art, dance, street shows. Don't forget to visit central Istria's towns of Rovinj, Motovun, Saint Vincent and Hum, the smallest town in the world. It is impossible to list all that the area has to offer! One more advantage: the villa is just a 30 min ride from Pula airport. You can fly to Trieste, 1 hour's drive from the villa.
Accommodation
Ground floor
The open plan ground floor has a spacious, light sitting room, kitchen, dining and laundry room and a family bathroom with a shower enclosure. Two comfortable, large sofas settled around the fireplace dominate the room, which flows into the kitchen with a dining table, two steps up from the lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, cooker, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, cooking utensils and tableware. The dining table accommodates six to eight people. The villa provides a washing machine, iron, ironing board and a hair drier. From the sitting room you have direct access to the garden and pool terrace, and the barbecue area.
First floor
Up the wooden staircase you reach the first floor which has a double bedroom with a balcony and a satellite TV and of a twin bedded room with a satellite TV. Good bed linen and towels are provided. These bedrooms share a large bathroom with a bath tub.
Outside
The villa has a walled garden with a private heated pool 6 by 4 metres, sun loungers and a parasol. Around the pool, there is lovely landscaping and planting of Mediterranean trees and herbs. For outside dining and socialising, there is a barbecue and a dining table for up to 8 people.
