Overview
This new, stone built villa sits splendidly in an 8000 acre garden, resembling an Istrian nobleman's manor of old. The villa is surrounded by beautiful natural greenery and Mediterranean rural landscape of olive groves and vineyards. One really feels fresh air on this estate, which offers you country walks, wonderful food and wine, beaches and sightseeing just around the corner. In front of the whole length of the villa there is a double height colonnaded outdoor terrace - the downstairs terrace for al fresco dining in the shade, and the upstairs terrace providing bedroom balconies with unforgettable views. As the town of Porec is only 3 miles away, there is a lot of culture, sightseeing, and the best area for water sports.
Accommodation
The villa is lovely inside and outside. Wonderful natural and local materials have been used and luxury, comfort and the feeling of wellbeing are enhanced by large spaces, high ceilings, good décor, large modern bathrooms and top quality furnishings. The villa is arranged on two floors.
Ground floor
On the ground floor which is completely covered with old stock terracotta tiles there is a beautiful sitting room with an Istrian stone built open fireplace. Elegant and comfortable sofas and armchairs are placed around the fireplace, and the room is furnished with antique pieces and decorative lighting. A nice archway leads to the dining room, with a table that seats 10 people. The old style country kitchen is elegant and functional, equipped with another dining table, oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, kettle plenty of good utensils, plates and glassware. A utility room has a washing machine, iron and ironing board. A second lovely kitchen/diner is also on the ground floor, with a full set of equipment, cooking utensils, glassware and plates. There is a double bedroom and a large shower room on the ground floor, with direct access to the terrace and pool. A second shower room/cloakroom is also available.
First floor
Four large bedrooms with oak floors and old oak beams have own en-suite bathrooms which are equipped with high quality Italian bathroom ware and tiles. Some have baths and showers, and some have large shower rooms. There is plenty of storage space and dressing rooms. Each bedroom has a French doorway onto the balcony, with quality outdoor furniture to relax in and take in the views with stunning natural scenery.
Outside
The villa is located on a large estate where there is just one more equally grand and large villa with a separate garden and pool. Olive trees and other Mediterranean greenery grow all around the estate, and great lawns and terraces stretch around the Villa. The pool is an infinity pool, with plenty of sunbathing area, sunbeds and pool towels. Outdoor terraces have a barbecue and great garden furniture and a large table for al fresco dining. The whole experience is amazing. There is parking for several cars.
