OVERVIEW
Villa Zamara deserves to be described as a super luxury villa, gorgeous all year round. The modern three bedroom house (250 square metres), built in 2016, is in itself an object of beauty , furnished to the highest standards of comfort and elegance, with a fabulous heated private pool, located in what is one of the most beautiful spots in Istria, if not the world. The villa overlooks the pretty valley of lake Butoniga and is a mere 30 min drive to the Istrian coast with its charming seaside towns of Porec, Rovinj, Pula and many others.
This villa is a real "away from it all" experience, where you can relax and enjoy peace, natural beauty and privacy, but if you are up for action, there is so much you can do. Gourmets and wine enthusiasts will be able to visit the best of Istrian wineries, excellent local tavernas and high end Michelin star restaurants. Famous musical village of Groznjan and even more famous Motovun (film festival in July) are just a short drive away - you must visit. The area is known for truffles, beautiful food and wine. All kinds of water sports are on offer in the coastal towns, and you have a choice of numerous beaches. All year round there are music festivals, village fetes, open air theaters and concerts, good museums and old churches to visit. Hiking, biking and gentle walks in the picturesque countryside among vineyards and olive groves will refresh you and we guarantee you will want to return.
This villa is really the best of the best and will suite country lovers, romantics, adults and families. But a car is essential. Winter and summer the villa is equally delightful. Winter, autumn and spring can be very atmospheric and enjoyable, with many good things on offer. We really recommend this villa for off season holidays, as well as the hot and vibrant summers.
Accommodation
Ground floor
The ground floor comprises a large, sunny, airy, open plan living space with a huge sitting room, a library, kitchen and dining area. No expense is spared for your comfort, but the view from the living room is just indescribably beautiful and will define your stay there. Oak floors and immense picture windows, a modern feature fireplace and a super-comfortable sofa and armchairs are all great features of the highest quality. A satellite TV and board games are provided. The laundry room has a washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, hob, oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, excellent set of cooking utensils and tableware. A stylish dining table for up to 10 people also enjoys great views.
First floor
The first floor comprises three luxurious, air-conditioned double bedrooms each with an en-suite shower room and own TV. Super-king size double beds, wardrobes, top quality bed linen and plenty of towels are provided. The master bedroom has direct access to its private balcony overlooking the garden, vineyards and woods. There is also a hair straightener.
Outside
The villa has a large private garden (50 000 square metres) with stunning views over the valley. The most impressive feature is a heated, large, (60 square metres) infinity pool which is L-shaped and has a hydro-massage facility. Around the pool there is a large decked sunbathing area with six sun loungers, 3 parasols and pool towels are provided. Just outside the living room there is a paved covered terrace with several sets of quality outdoor sofas, armchairs, dining table and a BBQ. The garden extends to several acres of lawn, meadow, vegetable garden and olive groves.
