OVERVIEW
Luxury Villa Samara sits right on the beachfront, just separated from the pebble beach by a small road. The view from the pool and all the terraces is amazing and there is even a sunbathing platform directly by the sea across the road. The mountains deliver a beautiful villa backdrop for this luxury family villa which has been built in traditional style. In contrast to this the interior is kept in a minimalistic style with a spacious open plan living area, and modern maritime paintings adorning the walls.
The Luxury Family Villa Samara is close to Vinganj which is well known for its water sports. If you are into kiting and surfing, Viganj is the place to go to, both for beginners and pros. Apart from water sports there are many other outdoor activities on offer. Why not hike up to the highest point on the Peljesac peninsular, Sveti Ilja, and revel in the panoramic view across the peninsula and the Adriatic Sea or walk the Walls of Ston? Viganj itself has numerous restaurants to choose from and there are also a few supermarkets to stock up on your daily needs. The lively town of Orebic is just a 10 minutes' drive away and from there you can catch the ferry to Korcula Island. Vineyards cover large areas of the Peljesac peninsula and we highly recommend a wine tasting tour. The Plavac Mali is a local red wine, deep in colour, grown on the peninsula and has a rich, full bodied flavour. Other notable Croatian wines from the area around Orebic are the Dingac and the Postup.
ACCOMMODATION
Ground floor
The ground floor consists of a spacious open plan living area with glazed doors opening to the beautiful sea view terrace. A large corner sofa, two poufs and a stylish coffee table dominate the lounge which also has a satellite TV and a small library. Beautiful maritime paintings add splashes of colour to the minimalistic design. The modern kitchen with breakfast bar is fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, table and glass ware, and kitchen utensils. There is plenty of space for eight people around the dining table in the adjoining dining area.
One double bedroom with wardrobe is on the ground floor. The downstairs bathroom has a walk-in rain shower and also houses the washing machine.
First floor
Two further double bedrooms with amazing sea view are on the first floor and share a beautiful bathroom with shower and bathtub with overhead shower. The bathroom is fully tiled with marble effect wall tiles and has a double sink. Bedlinen and bath towels are provided.
Second floor
Another bedroom with comfortable double bed is located on the second floor. The bathroom has a shower and all bedlinen and towels are provided.
OUTSIDE
The central focus of the outside space is the 32 square metre swimming pool with stunning views across the Adriatic Sea from both the pool and the sunbathing terraces. From the covered dining terrace with barbecue you also have a lovely sea view. Parasols and sun loungers are provided. Just across the small road is a small pebble beach with shallow entrance to the sea and a bathing platform. You can park your cars in the spacious parking area within the premises in front of the villa.
