OVERVIEW
Villa Denise is an exclusively renovated old house on the car free island of Lopud near Dubrovnik. The villa is close to sand beaches, Mediterranean vegetation, pretty seaside cottages and good restaurants. In addition it is a very tranquil place, providing a stress free holiday for families, couples and groups of adults who can reach Dubrovnik by ferry or speed boat. The villa is a few hundred years old but has kept its authentic look with 210 square metres of modern well equipped interiors. The house is located on a hill overlooking the bay, a completely secluded villa in woodland surroundings.
Accommodation
Ground floor
The ground floor has terracotta tiles throughout and wooden beam ceilings. This spacious open-plan living room includes a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, sandwich maker, cooking utensils and tableware for 18 people. The dining table sits 12 comfortably. The sitting room has a large L-shaped sofa, arm chairs, satellite TV, DVD player and direct access to the pool terrace. On this floor is a bathroom and a laundry room with a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board.
First floor
The first floor has a small sitting room/library, double master bedroom and bathroom with a bathtub, and second bedroom with twin beds and a bathroom.
Second floor
On the second floor there are 3 more bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All 3 bedrooms have sea views.
Separate cottage
At the back of the villa there is a separate cottage of 24 square metres suitable for two people, with a kitchenette (fridge and stove), TV, bathroom and double bed - great for grandparents, visiting friends or a baby sitter. A separate utility building has a washer and dryer. Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.
Outside
The villa is surrounded by terraces and has a stunning, large pool with breath-taking views in the front garden. Around the pool there is plenty of sunbathing space, sun beds and parasols. An outdoor dining table and the barbecue are in the secluded back courtyard.
Additional Information
- Transfer arrangements can be made for pick-up at the airport and drop off to the island, at extra cost.
- A caretaker is available to assist guests at all reasonable times.
