The principal town on Pag Island with many buildings and features from the 15th century. Shops, restaurants, harbour and beaches.

Pag town is the principal town on the island of the same name. It was founded in 1443 and planned as a fortified settlement to guard the adjoining salt pans. It retains the main components of its original grid layout with a large paved square and parts of the original town wall. Notable buildings include several medieval churches and the 15th century Rector's palace and Bishop's palace. Hotel Pagus in Pag offers a very good wellness centre. There are a good range of restaurants and shops in the town.
