OVERVIEW
This villa is a rare find, a very spacious, light and comfortable villa which can easily accommodate large groups. There are plenty of bathrooms, a gorgeous pool and a secluded one acre (4000 square metre) garden which is right on the seashore, with direct access from the garden. The best beach is 500 metres away.
It is located in a quiet and attractive location in a very charming fishing village, famous for its mussels. The villa is close to shops, a market, a bakery, cafes and many restaurants. At the distant end of the village there is a small and pretty marina where you can moor yachts up to 14 metres length. The historic town of Pula with its 1rst century Roman amphitheatre is just about 7 kilometres away. You will love to spend an afternoon there walking along the old town streets and enjoying authentic Croatian food in one of the numerous restaurants and cafes.
Accommodation
The house encompasses 260 square metres of living space and is arranged on two floors, with a kitchen and sitting room on each floor. Each floor has two air-conditioning units, one in the living area and one in the hallway, to cover all rooms. Large terraces and balconies with delightful sea views stretch along the length of the villa.
Ground floor
On the ground floor there is a tastefully furnished sitting and dining area with tiled floors, and satellite TV. Doors open onto a covered terrace where there is an outdoor table and chairs. Through an archway you enter a fully equipped modern kitchen with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, cooker and hob, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and cooking utensils. All crockery, cutlery and glassware are provided. There are three double bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor. The bedrooms have wooden floors, double beds and storage space. Some of the bedrooms have direct access to the covered terrace, with outdoor furniture and views of the pool, garden and sea. Bathrooms either have a bath with shower attachment or a shower cubicle. All bed linen and towels are provided.
First floor
The sitting area has a large L-shaped cream sofa, satellite TV and a doorway opening out onto a terracotta tiled covered balcony with outdoor table and chairs. The kitchen is tiled with cream ceramic tiles and has smart red Italian kitchen units with fridge-freezer, dishwasher, cooker and hob, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, blender, cooking utensils and smart tableware. A modern dining table and chairs are adjacent. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first floor. Two of the bedrooms have double beds and one has twin beds. All bedrooms have wooden floors and storage space, some have access to the covered balcony with sea views. One of the bathrooms has a jacuzzi bath and the other a shower cubicle. All bed linen and towels are provided. The sofa in the lounge can sleep two additional guests.
Outside
Villa del Mar is within a large walled garden which backs directly onto the seashore, and the owner provides kayaks and a pedalo for use by guests. The beach below the villa is not ideal for swimming but there is a nice swimming beach about 500 metres away. Additionally, there is a children's play area in the garden with swings and slides. The garden has a large green lawn, scented Mediterranean shrubs, climbing plants, fruit trees and olive trees. The villa has a large pool, 12 x 4 metres, and sun loungers and umbrellas are provided. At one end of the poolside area is a covered summer kitchen with a barbecue and outdoor dining table and chairs.

The owner lives in a self-contained annex and shares the drive with you. He is happy to help and assist with any questions you might have, but in general keeps to himself.
